European fans of the animated series Batman of the Future (known in the United States as Batman Beyond) will have the opportunity to play as young Terry McGinnis in the upcoming LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Developer TT Games announced that PlayStation users who purchase the game for PS4 or PS3 will receive a DLC pack featuring the teenage Batman, an older Bruce Wayne (Terry’s mentor in the series), and his Bat-Hound Ace, as well as villains Mr. Freeze and Bonk.
No information has been given regarding the bonus DLC pack being released outside of the EU, but there are three additional DLC packs available for purchase for $2.99/£2.55 in North America and Europe upon the game’s respective release dates of November 11th and 14th.
Fans are sure to love the Batman 75th Anniversary Pack, as they are able to play as different variations of the Caped Crusader throughout the character’s storied history, in addition to the Joker and Harley Quinn. The Dark Knight Pack features playable characters from Christopher Nolan’s iconic trilogy including Commissioner Gordon, the Joker, Bane, Catwoman, and the Dark Knight himself. In the Man of Steel Pack, players fight against General Zod to help Jor-El save infant Superman and rescue him from Krypton.
Beyond Gotham has the distinction of being the first game in the LEGO series to feature a Season Pass for DLC, which will include three additional unannounced packs. The Season Pass will be available for $14.99/£12.79 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
