[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t’s being reported that Sony Pictures, MGM, and Original Film are now moving forward with 23 Jump Street. One of the writers of 22 Jump Street, Rodney Rothman, is set to return to write the screenplay, and Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are on board as producers.
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will reprise their roles as Schmidt and Jenko, however, no other cast members have been confirmed.
If you’ve seen 22 Jump Street, then you know that it ended with a montage of potential sequels. If the order is followed, then this time around we can look forward to seeing our two favorite undercover cops get into some wacky antics in medical school.
Personally I’m sticking it out for 24 Jump Street: Foreign Exchange Students.
With 21 Jump Street earning roughly $202m worldwide and 22 Jump Street bringing in a little over $324m worldwide, it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing a lot of this franchise.
