HIDIVE Unveils Exclusive Screenings and New Anime Premieres for Anime Frontier

AMC Networks’ HIDIVE will return to Fort Worth, TX, next month for Anime Frontier 2024, featuring a wide range of screenings of both current and upcoming titles available exclusively on the rapidly expanding anime streaming service. As part of this announcement, HIDIVE revealed two new series, From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! and Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster!, which will debut in January as part of its Winter 2025 simulcast season, following their North American premieres at Anime Frontier 2024. HIDIVE’s programming for the event will include six screenings over the three-day weekend, December 6-8, at the Fort Worth Convention Center, open to all badge holders.

From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! is based on the popular seinen manga by Michiro Ueyama. This new isekai comedy follows a 52-year-old civil servant who is reincarnated as the villainess in his daughter’s favorite video game. Directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi and produced by Ajia-do Animation Works, the show features series composition by Shingo Irie and character design by Haruka Matsunae and Yuki Miyamoto. This title is part of the anime TV series acquired by Sentai Filmworks under a multi-year agreement with Mainichi Broadcasting System, announced in March 2023.

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! is adapted from the long-running seinen manga written by Nozomi Ginyo and illustrated by Taro Shinonome. This new ecchi comedy follows a slain knight reincarnated as a monster, now dedicated to protecting his beautiful elven rescuer but in the form of an adorable kitten. Produced by Zero G x Saber Works, it is directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa, with series composition by Kanichi Kato and character design by Tomoyuki Abe.

HIDIVE’s Anime Frontier 2024 lineup kicks off on Friday, December 6, with a special dub screening of the fantasy action adventure series I Parry Everything!. Saturday, December 7, begins with the premiere screening of the rom-com series How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer, followed by a screening of the rom-com drama series 2.5 Dimensional Seduction and the North American premieres of the newly announced Winter 2025 titles, From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! and Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! Finally, on Sunday, December 8, HIDIVE will wrap up its programming with the North American premiere of the Winter 2025 rom-com I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!?, previously introduced at New York Comic Con 2024.
