Toei Animation and the Boston Red Sox have teamed up to present “One Piece Night,” a unique event that combines America’s favorite pastime with anime’s beloved pirates to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “One Piece.” This special event will take place on Wednesday, August 28, at Fenway Park, where Monkey D. Luffy and Zoro mascots will welcome approximately 6,500 One Piece fans.
These fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a Boston Red Sox Theme Night as they watch the game against the division rival, the Toronto Blue Jays. Those who purchased tickets through redsox.com/onepiece for Wednesday’s game will receive an exclusive commemorative bobblehead of Monkey D. Luffy dressed in a Red Sox uniform, a collaboration between the Red Sox and Toei Animation.
Before the game, as part of “One Piece Night,” all fans are invited to participate in a “One Piece” cosplay gathering on the Sam Adams Deck from 4:40 pm to 6:40 pm and to experience a One Piece Card Game demo hosted by Bandai on the Big Concourse from 4:40 pm to 8:00 pm.
“One Piece Night” promises to be an unforgettable evening for die-hard “One Piece” fans and a unique celebration of the 25th anniversary of the series.
Fans attending “One Piece Night” are encouraged to use the hashtag #OP25th in all their social media posts.
