Coming December 18th, Dune will be the first in a two-part film experience that will cove the first half of the book of the same name. The story follows Duke Leto Atreides as he takes over the mining of the most valuable resource in the universe on the desert planet of Arrakis, or “Dune”. The resource, referred to as “the spice”, has supernatural properties that are sought after by many, including Duke Leto’s enemies. Take a look at the trailer below.
The film boasts an all-star cast with Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
