Yep, it seems as though the actor best know for his roles in the film Moonlight and the Luke Cage series for Netflix is playing the famous vampire-hunter in the MCU.
Blade of course was originally portrayed by Wesley Snipes in the Blade trilogy from 1998 to 2004, long before Iron Man in 2008 and the start of the MCU.
We don’t know if Ali’s Blade is getting a film or a Disney Plus series (probably a film), and no dates were announced at the panel.
Regardless, Ali rules, and we’re pumped to see when he will be introduced.
I think I know how Snipes feels about this news.
