Fingers crossed that we get to see Tom Holland’s naive Spider-Man throw some pop culture references at Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury.
In typical Samuel L. Jackson fashion, the famous Hollywood actor has announced his return as the beloved character Nick Fury via Instagram with the caption, “Back to the familiar, the comfortable, the lovably fierce! Loving today’s mood! #Can’tkeepagoodmandown #deliriouslyfurious”

It is widely assumed that our favorite wall-crawler will be running into the (ex?) director of S.H.I.E.L.D in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home since Samuel L. Jackson tagged his location as Watford, United Kingdom in the Instagram slideshow, which can be viewed here. After all, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker just was spotted filming several scenes in the United Kingdom earlier last week.
In addition to Nick Fury’s business card, contained within the Instagram slideshow are photos of a fake beard, some make up work to portray scars over his left eye, and an eye patch to top it all off. Now it is important to remember that this is nothing more than an educated guess and the actor could be doing some additional scenes for Avengers 4, but that does seem rather unlikely considering the location tagged. Maybe the actor is doing some work for Captain Marvel? Or perhaps it could be in regards to the untitled Marvel film which was recently moved from a release date in October of 2021 to February?
