Plus who we think should play the other adult characters!
It looks like the first adult member of the Losers Club has been cast. Variety reports that Jessica Chastain is in negotiations to portray the adult version of Beverly Marsh.
Chastain, who has appeared in films such as Interstellar and The Martian, has been rumored for the role for some time, especially since she and It director Andy Muschietti worked together previously on his horror film Mama. We assume Amy Adams and Bryce Dallas Howard will get a call if Chastain says no.
In It, Beverly Marsh is a member of the Losers Club, seven misfits all terrorized by the evil shapeshifting entity Pennywise the Dancing Clown. At the end of the film (spoilers) the Losers are able to defeat Pennywise, but Beverly has a premonition that they will once again fight the monster as adults. This is what happens in Stephen King novel the film is based on, and it is presumed the film’s sequel will follow the kids as adults.

The It sequel is in early preproduction with the script currently being worked on, but filming is expected to begin this summer, so expect more casting news soon.
Sophia Lillis did a terrific job as the troubled young version of Beverly, so we’re really excited to see what Chastain can bring to the role.
Annnndddd here’s who we think should play the grownup versions of the remaining Losers Club members.
Wayne Brady as Mike Hanlon
Drew Carey as Bill Denbrough
Ryan Stiles as Ben Hanscom
Greg Proops as Stan Uris
Colin Mochrie as Eddie Kaspbrak
Finn Wolfhard as Richie Tozier (Just use CGI. He’s already perfect.)
No, I wasn’t watching Whose Line is It Anyway? earlier.
It: Chapter 2 hits theaters on September 6, 2019.
