We’re getting closer!
Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn, has finally found some help in his quest to create a Spawn reboot film. Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions have agreed to help McFarlane bring the film to life in a partnership agreement. Blumhouse Productions was the studio that helped produce Get Out and the Paranormal Activity series.
McFarlane announced the news during a Facebook live with Kevin Smith, “No more theoretical, we’re now making movies. We’re going!” McFarlane will write the script and will direct the film.
For those of you that do not know, Spawn is a comic book character that had a movie made about him in 1997. You can view a trailer of the old movie below.
There is no release date yet for the new Spawn film.
