[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] short teaser trailer was recently released for upcoming Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle. The trailer is only 15 seconds long but it does give some glimpses into some of the new characters. You can view it below.
Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, and Julianne Moore’s characters were all briefly shown during the trailer. Channing Tatum and Halle Berry will be playing American spies that will help the Kingsmen while Julianne Moore will be playing the villain. Jeff Bridges and Sir Elton John will also be joining the cast but they were not shown in the trailer and we do not know much about their characters.
Another character notably absent from the trailer was Harry Hart, the spy that will be returning from the dead. It will be interesting to see if Harry Hart will be in one of the later trailers or if the studio will want to keep Hart under wraps until the release.
The synopsis for the film is “our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…”
Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle will be directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and will star Taron Egerton, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, and Sir Elton John.
Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle will be released in theaters on September 29, 2017.
