It’s going to be a while until Iron Fist is released on Netflix but the show will be well worth the wait.
[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]rom ordinary to extraordinary, another New Yorker’s tale of going from just another citizen in the city that never sleeps to a superhero is set to be released. Unfortunately, Iron Fist won’t be released on Netflix until next spring in March but if the previous Marvel hit shows like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Daredevil are any indicator you can be sure that Iron Fist will be well received from fans and critics alike.
Iron Fist follows a young billionaire by the name of Danny Rand (Finn Jones, Game of Thrones) who spent ten years of his life away from home mastering the mysterious fighting style known as K’un-Lun. Danny returns to New York City with the intention of protecting his family’s legacy and whooping some ass with just one punch. Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand, Game of Thrones) will take on the role of a sword-wielding samurai named Colleen Wing and Simone Missick will reprise her role of Misty knight, the Harlem cop who appeared in Luke Cage.
Every new show thus far involving a character from the Defenders has been nothing short of amazing. With an all-star cast attached to Iron Fist, we can only hope that Marvel and Netflix continue to produce superb shows that take us on a roller coaster of emotion and intense action scenes.
Iron Fist will be available on Netflix on March 17th, 2017.
