Reports of Harry Hart’s death have been greatly exaggerated…
Rumors have been floating around regarding the return, or shall I say, “supposed resurrection” of Colin Firth’s Harry Hart/Galahad in the upcoming sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service. Despite a rather convincing death in the first film, a recent Instagram post from Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascale put the rumors to rest, with a photo of what looks like Colin Firth on the set of Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle.
This combined with the most recent movie poster should really put the nail in the coffin that puts this rumor to rest…and also err take the nail out of the coffin that would have been Harry Harts.
Most of the cast and crew will be returning for the second film and some new additions as well: Taron Egerton as Eggsy, Mark Strong as Merlin, Halle Berry as the head of the CIA, Pedro Pascale as a character with the name “Jack Daniels”, Channing Tatum in an unidentified role at the moment, Julianne Moore as the films main antagonist, Jeff Bridges, Vinnie Jones, and a surprise film appearance by Sir Elton John as well. Matthew Vaughn is writing and directing the sequel which is said to follow Eggsy to the States where he will be pitted against a “swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy”.
The film is set to release June 16th, 2017.
