[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he upcoming Kingsman sequel The Golden Circle continues to expand its promising cast list with the addition of Big Lewbowski star, Jeff Bridges.

It looks like Bridges is switching up ‘The Dude’s’ White Russians for a spot of whiskey, which could inadvertently hint at Bridges’ role.
The film is set to follow Eggsy and co as they team up with the American Kingsman after an attack on their headquarters. Since the American Kingsman hideout is said to be disguised as a whiskey distillery, many have already theorised Bridges could be set to play the American equivalent of Michael Caine’s role in the previous film, as the head of the American Kingsman.
Bridges will join Taron Egreton and Mark Strong who are both set to return, along with new villain Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and Pedro Pascal. It has also been rumoured that legendary singer Elton John may be making an appearance.
Everyone’s favourite Harry Hart (Colin Firth) could also potentially pop up in the sequel, although given his fate in the first movie, we don’t know how Hart will be involved – if at all.
The cast for the Kingman sequel just gets better and better with every new addition, and now Bridges is on board we are ever more hopeful the Golden Circle will be just as good as the first.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is slated for release 16 June, 2017.
