He bloody looks like a proper gent, he does.
[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]ear the beginning of April, Channing Tatum (Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street) publicly announced that he had joined the cast of the upcoming sequel to the 2014 surprise hit, Kingsman: The Secret Service. Yesterday, he was spotted in London filming for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and ComingSoon gave everyone the exclusive first look at his dapper apparel. Check it out!
Tatum’s character is currently unnamed to us, but we do know that he is an American agent of some kind, (possibly CIA) and from the pictures, it appears as though he also frequents the same “tailor” as Harry Hart (Colin Firth, who is expected to return in this film, even though he was killed in the first).
Taron Egerton will return as Eggsy, the low-life, small time criminal turned secret agent, where we’ll see him venture to the United States to meet his match in a “swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy.” Mark Strong will be reprising his role as Merlin, Halle Berry is cast as the head of the CIA, Pedro Pascal is a character named “Jack Daniels,” and Julianne Moore is currently expected to play the main villain, though it has not been confirmed yet. Sir Elton John is also in talks with the producers for a role as well.
Matthew Vaughn has returned to write and direct the film, and a release date of June 16, 2017 has been set by 20th Century Fox.
