‘Destiny’ April Update Comes With Some Sweet New Playstation Exclusives

Head back to the Reef in style. 

Activision and Bungie are devoted to releasing new content for the still massively popular Destiny: The Taken King, and this month’s update is no exception.

Besides new PVE challenges, and increased maximum Light, Playstation Blog has revealed that PS4 and PS3 gamers will be treated to some exclusive gear and weapons in the coming April update.

A Playstation exclusive weapon is the Exotic Sniper Rifle: Zen Meteor, with available perks like Dynamite, giving the player explosive rounds and rapid kills. 

Zen Meteor can be obtained through Decrypt Exotic Engrams or Legendary Engrams. 

Also exclusive to PS-owners is the Essence of Darkness quest, where the player investigates a disturbance at the Court. 

Completing this quest will unlock another Playstation exclusive: the Velumbra Sparrow. 

Finally, a variety of a new armor can only be found on Playstation: Warlock Armor: Barkhan Dune I, Hunter Armor: Long Tomorrow 9G, and Titan Armor: Jovian Guard. All three can be unlocked through decrypting Sublime Engrams.
