Proceed with caution during a Settlement quest to Monsignor Plaza.
Careful Vault Dwellers, a game-breaking bug has been discovered in Fallout 4.
Apparently, the glitch can occur during a Settlement quest about 10 hours in, which requires the player to travel to Monsignor Plaza. Multiple players have reported that on their way to the Plaza, the game crashed, and error messages appeared.
While most players have encountered this bug on PC, some PS4 and Xbox One owners have reported this happening to them as well.
Bethesda has yet to officially comment on the matter, but for potential workarounds and solutions, check out the original forum post outlining the bug here.
Fallout 4 released last Tuesday, and it has been a huge success. Over 12 million copies were shipped on launch day, and reviews have been very positive.
The main criticism with the game, as with most Bethesda games, is its technical performance.
Players have already encountered a plethora of minor bugs, glitches, and exploits that can hamper your experience in the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth.
As always, we recommend you manually save your game regularly in case anything does happen.
Fallout 4 is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
