Blomkamp says that another project has put Alien 5 on hold!
[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]or those who have been waiting for Alien 5 to come out will have to wait a little longer than expected. Director Neill Blomkamp, who has directed District 9, Elysium, and Chappie, has put the film on hold indefinitely so he can make room for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus 2. So the rumors, that started back in August, of Prometheus 2 delaying Alien 5 are true.

Deadline reported that “Blomkamp’s Alien movie appears for all intents and purposes comatose for now.” For the next Alien movie, Blomkamp is hoping to bring back stars Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn.
Prometheus 2 will have Michael Fassbender and Noomi Repace back in their roles for the sequel, with Rebecca Ferguson expected to have a role in the movie!
