A behind the scene video from the set of The Walking Dead spinoff show has been released and comes complete with commentary from producers and showrunners.
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]ver since the news broke that a spinoff show for The Walking Dead, titled Fear the Walking Dead, fans have been in a state of utter excitement. AMC gave the go to start the project on March 9, 2015 with a premiere date sometime this summer. The series is set in Los Angeles and pushes back the timeline featured in The Walking Dead to the very beginning of the outbreak.
The video above features commentary from executive producers Robert Kirkman and Gale Anne Hurd and the showrunner Dave Erickson. Erickson states that “You expect a certain of thing of The Walking Dead. We want to give that sense and then pull the rug out from under them.” This suggests that Fear the Walking Dead will have the similar aspects to The Walking Dead but also be completely different. Hurd attests to this saying “It’s (Fear the Walking Dead) got a completely different vibe. A completely different feel.”
