Another member joins the already growing all-star cast of mutants in Brian Singer’s next X-Men flick.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hat better confirmation than straight from the source? Director Bryan Singer has confirmed that Ben Hardy will be playing Warren Worthington III or better known as Angel in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
“Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you! But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”

There has long been speculation on Ben Hardy donning the Angel’s wings but we are nearing the film’s production, so it was just a matter of time. The concept art above shows less feather-like wings and ones that are more blade-like. Personally, I’m partial to the snowy, white feathery wings but this, perhaps, will give the character a darker appeal. Will Ben Hardy trump Ben Foster as Angel?
