[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t’s finally happened: Batman has superpowers. But they come at a price. The Lex Luthor-created Amazo Virus has been released in Metropolis, and in the most recent issue of DC Comics’s Justice League series written by Geoff Johns and drawn by Jason Fabok, the Caped Crusader is the latest member of the Justice League to contract the virus.
The virus strips powers away from superheroes like Flash and Aquaman and, in addition to symptoms resembling the flu, gives normal humans superpowers based on the person’s subconscious. In Batman’s case, the virus blinds him but gives him improved hearing with a supersonic scream. But there’s one catch: once the symptoms of the virus become too much, Batman will die.
You don’t want to be on the receiving end of Batman’s scream.
The Justice League must now continue to track down Patient Zero in order to find a cure and save its infected members before time runs out. Are Batman’s superpowers what you expected? Would you want to see an entire series with Super-Batman? Tell us in the comments!
