Bond’s latest mission is a smash hit all over the globe.

Even though he’s been on the big screen for over 50 years, 007 continues to draw in big crowds.

Spectre, the 24th Bond film, and the fourth starring Daniel Craig, has grossed over half a billion dollars since it premiered on October 26 in the UK.

The film had a record-breaking opening week in the UK, and when it was released in the US on November 6, it was #1 at the box office, and brought in a hefty $70.4 million during its first weekend.

007 remained #1 at the US box office again this past weekend, bringing in $35.4 million.

Spectre has also found great success outside of the US and UK. The film has brought in big numbers in small markets like Germany and Korea, but a notable foreign opening for the film was in China, where it made over $15 million on its first day, making it the second biggest 2D Hollywood film debut.

At this rate, Spectre is expected to exceed Skyfall, which made over $1.1 billion at the box office, as the highest grossing Bond film yet.

While we didn’t think Spectre was Daniel Craig’s best outing as Bond, we enjoyed it, and are very interested to see how much dough the film ultimately rakes in.
