This past year was packed with impressive movies of the largest spectacle and top-notch production quality. From music to makeup, 2019 served as another great year in film design and visionary execution and as such, that makes the year’s Academy Awards all the more to look forward to. However, with everything that comes along with the Oscar’s this year, the one thing it will be without is a host.

The Oscars Award Show Debuts on February 9th

ABC has stated that for the second year in a row, the Academy Awards will go hostless in order to focus on a presentation that features “huge entertainment value, big comedy, big musical numbers, and star power”.
