Does Amy Pascal have any idea what she’s talking about?

[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hile Marvel has made it abundantly clear that Spider-Man spinoff films are not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe producer Amy Pascal seems to claim otherwise. Despite director Kevin Feige announcing that Venom would not be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it appears that Sony wishes for Spidey to existence in the same universe as his spinoff films. Just how that works is anyone’s best guess.

In an interview, producer Amy Pascal announced that “Both movies will all take place in the world that we’re now creating for Peter Parker. I mean, they’ll be adjuncts to it, there may be different locations, but it will still all be in the same world and they will be connected to each other.” To make matters even more confusing, when Amy Pascal was asked if there was a chance that Tom Holland would appear either of the spinoff films she replied with “There’s a chance… there’s always a chance.”

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
