Jack Reacher sequel, titled Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, is in the works for a release next year.
According to recent news a long-awaited sequel for Jack Reacher is in the works. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back will once again star Hollywood Hunk Tom Cruise with the filming reported to have been started in New Orleans earlier this week. Paramount Pictures and Skydance are said to be leading the charge on the upcoming sequel.
The original film was released in 2012 having a hefty gross of over $215 million. Edward Zwick is in the director’s chair for the sequel film in hopes of having similar success to the first movie. The film supposedly originates from Lee Child’s 18th book in the Jack Reacher book series. Cruise will be producing with Skydance Media’s David Ellison while also collaborating with Don Granger, Dana Goldberg, and Christopher McQuarrie. The film is slated for release on October 21st, 2016.
