Thatgamecompany’s award-winning game Journey, an open world RPG, is coming to the Playstation 4.

[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]ack in 2012 the game developer thatgamecompany released an interactive and visually stunning RPG called Journey. The game became incredibly popular with a fairly large fan-base and won many awards like Best Overall Game of 2012 and Best Overall Music of 2012 from IGN. Not only that, but the music score from Journey also received a Grammy nomination as well. Keeping all of this in mind, it makes sense that thatgamecompany would put in the work to release their most popular game yet on the Playstation 4.
Playstation’s website gives a game overview that says:

Play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. In addition to Journey being released on the Playstation 4 with even better quality than before, the game will support cross buy. This means that if you have previously purchased Journey on the Playstation 3 and you still have the same Playstation account, you can now download it for free on your Playstation 4 when it is released! Don’t forget that Playstation is asking its fan worldwide to share “What Your Journey Experience Meant To You” to create a montage about the game.
Journey will be released for the Playstation 4 on July 21st.
