Disney is looking to move forward with the Maleficent sequel with Linda Woolverton set to write the story.
[dropcap size=small]M[/dropcap]aleficent grossed nearly $760 million globally so it’s no wonder why Disney wants to continue the fairy tale. The big question in both the public and studios mind however is whether Angelina Jolie will reprise her role as the fairy turned villain. At this time the studio is writing the story expecting her return, although that has not yet been confirmed.
