Two (technically four?) characters from Super‘s Future Trunks Saga join the fray.
Zamasu, everyone’s favorite Supreme Kai obsessed with Goku and mass-murder, is heading to Dragon Ball FighterZ as a DLC character. He will appear in his fusion form, meaning Future Zamasu has fused via Potara earrings with Goku Black (who is a fusion of present Zamasu and present Goku’s body (it’s really confusing, the English dub just covered this)). In the trailer we see Zamasu uses a variety of devastating attacks, including the deadly Blades of Judgement technique and his Super Move Wall of Light. Interestingly, it looks like Zamasu is capable of maintaining flight while moving, perhaps a special quirk to deviate the character further from Goku Black.
Zamasu isn’t the only character coming soon to FighterZ, as Vegito (the Potara fusion of Goku and Vegeta) is set to join the roster too. Although not yet officially announced, the character’s introduction trailer was released early via Bandai Namco Taiwan’s Facebook page. The trailer has since been taken down there, but has been uploaded elsewhere by multiple others, including YouTuber Rhymestyle.
Per the trailer above, Vegito is in his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, or Vegito Blue for short. We see him use the brutal ki-laced Savage Strike punch, and finish off Zamasu with Final Kamehameha, an extremely-hype combination of Final Flash and Kamehameha.
A release date for Zamasu and Vegito has yet to be announced by Bandai Namco. It can assumed each character will cost $5.00, the same as Broly and Bardock, or free if you own the $35.00 season pass.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
