Well that might be a “howling” good time.
[dropcap size=small]U[/dropcap]niversal is looking to reboot The Wolfman franchise for its upcoming Monster Cinematic Universe. For the role of the Wolfman Universal wants Dwayne Johnson, who already looks like a human-bear hybrid so it would not be out of the imagination to see him as the Wolfman.
There is no word yet on if this will actually be happening and since Johnson has a packed schedule, he is shooting Shazam soon, he may not have time to play the Wolfman.
In addition to The Wolfman, Universal is also rebooting The Mummy which will star Tom Cruise. Having Cruise and Johnson would add box office firepower to the Monster Cinematic Universe that Universal is trying to create.
It will be interesting to see what other monster series will be rebooted for the Universe (possibly Dracula?) and how they will all fit together. Until Universal releases the movies we will just have to wait and see.
