GTAV Gets Up Close and Personal With First-Person Perspective

UPDATE – NOV 7: It has been announced that Xbox One and PC owners will also be able to play in first person.

[dropcap size=small]R[/dropcap]ockstar Games has announced via the PlayStation Blog that Grand Theft Auto V users on PS4 will soon be able to play the game in First Person Mode, which allows players to view the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County in vivid detail.

Users will have the ability to switch back and forth between first- and third-person views simply by pressing a button, so both modes will be easily accessible during both GTAV and GTA Online gameplay. The updated version of the game will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th and will include hundreds of enhancements in addition to First Person Mode. Most notably, the update features a new targeting system, a more straightforward set of FPS controls, and thousands of brand new animations for players to experience.

Now the carjackings and murders can feel even more up close and personal!

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will feature a high-definition 1080p resolution at 30FPS, and players will have the ability to transfer saved progress from their PS3 and Xbox 360 games to the new release.
