Super Troopers 2’s Red Band Trailer is Absolutely Hilarious [NSFW]

The first official trailer for the long awaited sequel is finally here, and it looks like it has the potential to be truly incredible.

The original cast of Super Troopers (Broken Lizard) is back, and they are on fire with some of their comedy antics, as seen in the trailer. Unlike most sequels, ST2 looks like it has a plot that is full of substance and the comedic timing that follows close to the original without directly ripping itself off and rehashing the same old jokes and on-liners from before.

Everyone’s favorite law enforcement team is back by popular demand with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic…SUPER TROOPERS. When an international border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada, the Super Troopers- Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Farva, are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the disputed area. Unconventional police work follows, and the result is…SUPER TROOPERS 2.Fox Searchlight

As if the release date wasn’t a clear enough indication, Super Troopers 2 is doing its very best to outpace its predecessor with new material and the same group of highway officers delivering what will surely be one of this year’s biggest comedies. The trailer shows some great delivery with Broken Lizard’s jokes, which for me was really surprising. Being able to laugh through an entire trailer is something we rarely get these days, and I for one do not think that they threw in all of their best in this teaser.

With only a couple of months until the release, fans (us included) await eagerly to see this beloved franchise take its next big step on the silver screen.
